First year

  • Repositioning the M-51 Parka

This project took me on a journey of repositioning an historical garment, the M-51 Parka designed for the cold, Korean war.

  • Wipeout

My first Industrial design project saw me re-designing the tablet for a target audience. With students being at the forefront of the future, I designed a tablet to cater to the varied needs of students.

  • Embracing the past, Shaping the future

This project took us on a more personal journey, tasked with designing from a photograph of an ancestor, I took inspiration from the Military heroes in my family.

I created parachute pants with ripstop nylon, challenging my construction skills with this textile. The look not only represents a more literal approach to military clothing, but also to represent the loss and sacrifice of this family. With all five brothers being victims to war, a sense of heaviness is conveyed through the shapes and proportions.
